| It is Non Nokia but called Nokia N95i and N99i After, going through these boyz, I found some interesting stuffs inside. I know, where the heck did he find N95i when few N95 is still out, well that is because it a chinese product. And this one no be slide like im predecessor. N95i is a touch screen phone with a stylus but an extremely poor GUI As for the N99: this phone has an Analog TV; with the TV if you are close to some DSTV shitting decoder believe you will receive the transmission for free but may or may not talk but it will will be extremely clear, and as for a local Tv it will be the same as watching your normal TV. And if you got some card you will be able to use its CATV. Well, that is that about TV, next it supports bluetooth, I must say the first faked Nokia phone with Bluetooth. This same phone has a radio and it does not require headphone before it works. Oh did I say they claim it is PDA? But unfortunately it lacks it all. To cut stuffs short see the pics for yourself. | ||

Nokia N99 = Cell Phone + PDA + UMPC
The Nokia N99, is it real. Pictures are floating around the net. Blogs are talking about it, bookmarks are getting interesting reviews. Social networks, are spreading the word. The answer, is still un answered. Though, some high profile blogs have reported, that the phone is still in its building stage.
Considering, the iphone has just been released. Maybe it is a good idea, the Nokia N99 stays put. What the phone offers, is still not yet answered. Though, the pictures floating around. Looks, like Nokia will be having windows mobile OS? If this is true, will this be worth buying? What version of windows will they run? Shifty sources, have claimed. That the phone, might be using a new mobile OS. Vista, which was earlyier released from microsoft. Proclaiming itself, as the next best OS out there. Another great, OS by microsoft themself. Though, vista being on a mobile phone. Will be extremely insane, and radical!
Another odd thing about the Nokia N99, is the keyboard. They seem, to not care about the new futuristic designs. Touch screen, surface touch, or anything related to not clicking. Instead, the phone has a "qwerty" keyboard layout. The general opinon of the mass media, consumer. They seem to be ok with it. As long as the phone carries wifi, email, gps, consumers seem to be satisfied. Speculating, at the other phones in the current market. It might be safe to say, the Nokia N99 will have a camera and mp3 system. So that you may share, send and take pictures. As well as download, your favorite song of the day.
With all the speculation on the Nokia N99, we can only whisper and type away. What we wish this phone will have. Hopefully, in the coming future, we will have more general information on the phone. Maybe even a few real phone pictures a long with some nice facts, from the one great reliable source. Nokia themselves! Source:
Caffeine - Google's new search engine
Look-wise, the new engine doesn't appear different, but its developers hope that the technology they have used will noticeably index new content faster.
Google engineers are said to have invited web developers to test the new search engine, and give their feedback. Matt Cutts, a principal engineer at Google, and Sitaram Iyer, a staff software engineer, have posted an entry on the company's webmaster central blog, appealing to developers to try the newly improved service and send them some feedback.
"For the last several months, a large team of Googlers has been working on a secret project: a next-generation architecture for Google's web search. It's the first step in a process that will let us push the envelope on size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions," the Telegraph quoted them as having written on the blog.
"The new infrastructure sits "under the hood" of Google's search engine, which means that most users won't notice a difference in search results. But web developers and power searchers might notice a few differences, so we're opening up a web developer preview to collect feedback," they said.
A Google spokesperson added: ""Google is always working on new technologies to improve the quality of our search services. We hope this new system will improve search in the areas of speed, accuracy, and comprehensiveness."
Martin McNulty, director of search marketing specialist, Trafficbroker, who has tried the new version, said: "Google's caffeine is undoubtedly faster, almost twice as fast at times. It's like a Google GTi. Caffeine may be 'under the hood' but with this noticeable injection of speed it won't remain under the radar for long. As for accuracy, it's hard to say at this early stage but Google is clearly upping its game by including real-time results and more breaking news, as well as updates from the likes of Facebook and Twitter."

Power Management in IT
What is Power Management in IT means ?
The IT industry developed the power management or "sleep" feature that improved the energy efficiency of office equipment like computers, while helping to extend the life and performance over the long run.
When is power management working?
Power management works when you stop working. PM is engaged when you leave your computer idle for a set amount of time (a time the user can adjust) and the monitor goes black. The monitor should also go black after a screen saver has been on for some amount of time. However, when the screen is dark, or black, it's not really off; it is simply sleeping, cooling down and reducing wasted heat at a time when full power is not required. A simple move of the mouse or touch of the keyboard will cause it to power up. Many new computers now come with a special sleep button on the monitor or keyboard, so with a quick touch, the computer immediately powers down and sleeps. This feature is particularly popular in laptops but is finding its way into desktop and deskside designs.
"Business users will benefit from lower average power consumption – up to a 60 percent
"Continual improvement in energy efficiency of IBM's computers, monitors, and printers
PC Power Down powers down a PC if it has been left on and switches off the power to the computer's peripherals including the monitor at a scheduled time each day saving electricity and unnecessary carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
- Reduce fire risk associated with leaving electronic items powered and unattended .
- Reduce CO2 emissions by 750kg* a year per PC (the equivalent of you taking 7 return flights from London to Paris).
- Improve computer security: PCs cannot be attacked when powered down.
- Extend life of your PC and its peripherals.
- The PC Power Down block comes with surge protection.
- Save the Planet - Using PC Dower Down to eliminate electricity wasted by having a computer powered up when it is not needed will save 0.43kgCO2/kWh, that equates to 0.75 tonnes of CO2 emissions that would be created in generating the wasted electricity.

The era of the personal Internet dawns with the Nokia N97
Ragging helpline tips - How to Use it.
The helpline aims to help victims of ragging within minutes of their complaints. It will be operational at all hours. A four-digit, toll-free number will become operational once the helpline is launched. The steps being planned:
Step 1: A ragged student or a friend calls the helpline.
Step 2: The distress message is automatically stored in a central database with time, location and details of caller.
Step 3: The message is instantly replayed from the central control room, simultaneously alerting the head of the institution, the warden of the hostel and an appointed nodal officer of the affiliating university.
Step 4: An officer at the central control room will decide, immediately after the distress call, whether the case needs immediate intervention from district officials and police. If so, the message will be relayed to the district magistrate and the superintendent of police.
Step 5: The complaint will be placed on a website to enable the media and citizens to keep track of follow-up action.
Step 6: At the institution, its head will be required to act "immediately" on receiving the complaint. The head and the hostel warden will be held responsible for follow-up action.
Step 7: The head and the warden will have to alert an anti-ragging squad they are required to constitute in the institution. This squad is to consist of students and representatives of the staff. Its mandate is to be prepared for physical intervention in ragging cases 24x7.
Step 8: The squad is expected to intervene at the offence site, stop or prevent any ragging, and collect any evidence, including witness testimonies. If the victim called after the incident, or the anti-ragging squad could not arrive on time, the squad will initiate action against the accused.
Step 9: The institute head has to decide, within 24 hours of receiving the call, whether to register an FIR. Independently of any police action, the institute must complete its inquiry and action must be completed in seven days.
Step 10: The central database will also store the status of the action taken. It will also be made available to an NGO nominated by the Centre.
Step 11: Failure by the institute to act can lead to a range of punishments — from disciplinary action against the head, warden or members of the staff to declaring the institute doesn't meet academic standards.Source:.telegraphindia
