Dell Venue
The Dell Venue is an Android device running on Froyo (Android 2.2) and it has a large 4.1-inch AMOLED, WVGA ( 480 x 800 pixels). The screen is made of a tough and scratch-proof Gorilla glass. It has Dell Stage UI running over the Android OS. Dell Venue has an 8-megapixel autofocus ( also includes touch-to-focus option) camera that is able to record 720p HD video. The camera has face detection and geotagging features as well. The device is powered by 1GHz Scorpion processor and Adreno 200 GPU. For memory, there is a 512MB RAM, 1GB of ROM and upto 32GB of microSD support. The Venue has Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G ( HSDPA + HSUPA), Bluetooth with A2DP and microUSB support. GPS with A-GPS support is also present and the device supports Adobe Flash 10.1. The Dell Venue is priced at Rs.29,990.

Dell Venue Pro

The Dell Venue shares most of the Venue specs but it has a vertical slider QWERTY form factor and it runs on Windows Phone 7. The Venue Pro also has a fewer megapixel camera - a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. It can also record 720p HD video. The vertical slide-out QWERTY form factor made it thicker than the Venue and in terms of design, it resembles the Blackberry Torch. The screen is the same 4.1-inch as the Venue's and it is an AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with WVGA resolution and it also employs the tough Gorilla Display. Like the Venue, the Venue Pro also is powered by the same 1GHz Scorpion processor with Adreno 200 GPU and it has 512MB RAM with 16GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, there is no memory card slot like most Windows Phone 7 devices. The Venue Pro does not have Dell's own Stage UI but relies on the default Windows Phone 7 interface. The device has Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G (HSDPA + HSUPA), GPS with A-GPS and microUSB support. The Dell Venue Pro is priced at Rs.34,990.
